We’re excited to announce—with support from the The New York City Department of Health and Mental Hygiene (DOHMH) and with the support of New York City Council Members Robert F. Holden and Inna Vernikov—we are teaming up with The Research and Recognition Project and Post Traumatic Training Institute (PTTI) to offer The Reconsolidation of Traumatic Memories Protocol (RTM) completely free of charge to veterans in 2025.

The Reconsolidation of Traumatic Memories Protocol is a revolutionary neurological intervention delivered in a therapeutic setting, typically in 3 to 4 90-minute sessions. It is specifically designed to facilitate the reconsolidation of traumatic memories. The RTM Protocol™ offers a direct pathway to healing by targeting the core of traumatic experiences and effectively eliminating the symptoms of post-traumatic stress.

The focus of The RTM Protocol is to separate the traumatic feelings from the memories using a relaxed re-imaging process. Clients are guided to dissociate themselves from the traumatic memories, and while separated from feelings of fear, terror, and/or helplessness, make changes so that the memory no longer signals fight, flight, or danger. Following The RTM Protocol sessions, clients find they no longer feel preoccupied with trauma events and their nightmares and flashbacks no longer trouble them.

For your convenience, RTM sessions take place either in person or virtually, and are completely free of charge due to the generosity and support of DOHMH and New York City Council Members Robert F. Holden and Inna Vernikov.
